Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie celebrated her side’s thrilling Women’s FA Cup semi-final victory over Liverpool as she prepares for her maiden final appearance with the Seagulls.
The Seagulls staged a remarkable comeback from two goals down to secure a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Liverpool at the BrewDog Stadium on Sunday.
Liverpool initially took command of the encounter with goals from Denise O’Sullivan and Beata Olsson, but Brighton displayed immense character to fight back through strikes from Manuela Vanegas and Madison Haley. With the high-stakes match seemingly destined for extra time, Nadine Noordam struck a decisive blow in stoppage time to complete the stunning turnaround and send the home fans into a frenzy.

Following the final whistle, the Nigerian international took to her X (formerly Twitter) handle to express her immense satisfaction with the team’s resilient performance:
“We are going to Wembley. Straight into the FA Cup finals. Super proud of this team. I give God the glory.”
The 25-year-old shot-stopper has been in fine form throughout the competition, notably keeping clean sheets in her previous two Women’s FA Cup appearances for Brighton.
The stage is now set for a blockbuster conclusion to the tournament, as Brighton will face Manchester City in the final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, May 17.
