CR Belouizdad assistant coach Slim Seba expressed confidence in his team’s ability to overturn the first-leg deficit and reach the final.
Zamalek will host Algeria’s CR Belouizdad on Friday at Cairo International Stadium in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final, kicking off at 16:00 GMT.
He said:
“The second-leg match against Zamalek is the second half of the semi-final and very important for us, and we have special preparations to make up for the first-leg loss.”
CR Belouizdad assistant coach added:
“I am not worried about the crowd attendance because we are a team used to playing in large crowds, and we aim to turn that into positive motivation.”
He continued:
“Our focus is not only on Juan Bezerra, because Zamalek is a big team that includes players at the highest level.”
He explained:
“We were better in the second half against Zamalek and scored a goal that I believe was legal but was disallowed by the referee.”
He concluded:
“We will decide tomorrow on the availability of Mohamed Ali Ben Hammouda for the match against Zamalek.”
Zamalek enter the match with a 1-0 advantage after their victory in the first leg at Nelson Mandela Stadium in Algeria.
