According to renowned transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri, Club Brugge have been monitoring the intelligent Cameroonian attacker for several months. The Belgian side reportedly made an initial attempt to secure his services during the January window, but a deal failed to materialise.
Angers are holding out for a premium fee for their prized asset. The French club has reportedly slapped a €15 million valuation on Djibrin, whose current contract at the Stade Raymond Kopa is set to run until 2028.
SEASON FORM AND INTERNATIONAL PROSPECTS
The former AS Dauphine FC talent has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in Ligue 1. Despite seeing his playing time limited by a recent injury layoff, Djibrin has made 15 appearances and netted two goals this season, showcasing his clinical edge and technical ability.
Having already risen through the Cameroon U-17 and U-23 ranks, Djibrin is being viewed as a cornerstone for the future of the Indomitable Lions. His rapid ascent mirrors that of fellow countryman Carlos Baleba, who has excelled in the English Premier League.
Furthermore, with Belgium’s top flight becoming a proven springboard for young African talent, a move to Brugge could be the catalyst needed to propel the winger toward senior international recognition.
