Super Eagles legend Daniel Amokachi has advised current Galatasaray striker and Nigeria international Victor Osimhen tobwrite another chapter in his career by moving to the English Premier League, describing the striker as a “warrior” capable of succeeding in any global league.
Amokachi, a former player in both Turkey and England with Besiktas and Everton, expressed strong confidence in Osimhen’s ability to adapt and dominate in the Premier League.
Osimhen, currently on a season-long loan at Turkish giants Galatasaray from Napoli where he fell at of favour, has been in outstanding form this season.
The 26-year-old has racked up an impressive tally of 33 goals and eight assists in 38 appearances across all competitions and is in line to be the highest goal scorer for the Istanbul side, solidifying his status as a premier goal-scorer in Europe.
His performances have reportedly caught the attention of leading clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea, who are said to be tracking him as the summer transfer window approaches.
Speaking about Osimhen’s potential move, Amokachi lauded the striker’s mental fortitude and physical prowess, asserting that he has the essential qualities to flourish in the demanding and fast-paced environment of English football.
