Hearts of Oak defender Kelvin Osei Asibey has reacted to their delayed week 30 Ghana Premier League fixture against Karela United.
The Phobians will host the Tamale based club at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday at 3:00pm GMT.
Ahead of the game, the rugged defender shared his thoughts on the game.
“What we have been taught at the training grounds is what we are going to showcase on the field.
“Hearts supporters in Ghana and across the globe have been faithful to us, and their support is massive to us.
“Going into this game, I will urge each and everyone to come in their numbers to support us and to cheer us up,” he told Hearts TV.
“Karela are a very good side we have played with them different season this season too we went to Tamale we lost that game.
“We saw how they played coming into this game we have prepared very well to meet them.”
Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Mas Ud Didi Dramani urged the fans to attend the game in their numbers and support the club.
“The fans are what we have, and they don’t leave they have nowhere to go so we always appreciate their comments.
“We appreciate their positivity, and we will always do our best in order to put the club first.
“Where we are not able to get what they anticipate for please they should understand that it is our wish it is the players wish to do everything humanly possible to win every game.
“But sometimes the games there will be difficulties, but they need to cheer, they need to continue to support, they need to be positive around these boys and the team,” he told Hearts TV.
Hearts of Oak sit third on the league table on 49 nine points, two points behind second place GoldStars and seven points adrift of leaders Medeama after 30 matches.
