Ghana Premier League: “Kotoko lost concentration against Dreams” – Hamza Obeng

Asante Kotoko stop-gap coach Hamza Obeng has admitted that his defenders lost concentration during their 2-0 loss at Dreams fc in Ghana Premier League week 31 on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors suffered their third consecutive defeats, having already lost to Samartex [2-1] and Medeama [4-0] this season.

Kotoko have lost three straight matches

Obeng who replaced Prince Owusu, shared words with the media after the game.

“I think a bit lack of concentration at the backline that is where we had the problem,”

“There was a disorganization at the backline, we were not able to find the line where we had to organize ourselves so in our coming games that’s what we will work on.

“In correction ane in training ground to make sure we get it right in terms of defending.”

The defeat saw Asante Kotoko sink further down into ninth spot with 43 points after 30 games this season.

The record Ghana Premier League holders now trail leaders Medeama by 13 points with the league title race over.
