Youngster Kelvin Nkrumah put up a Man-of-the-Match performance with a hat-trick to his name after 120 minutes of grueling action.
Ibrahim Tanko who has managed to transform Medeama into a threatening force, shared his thoughts after the encounter.
“First I think I must commend the Attram team, I mean they gave us a tough game and even though we had more of the ball, we had the better chances but I think they did very well and this is what I said before the game that we want to go to the next round and after extra time I think 3-0 is very good for us,” Ibrahim Tanko said.
“I’m very happy for them because they did very well today and I congratulate them.
Medeama currently lead the Ghana Premier League table with 46 points, one point above holders GoldStars from 25 games this campaign.
Ibrahim Tanko says the club will make it a point to fight for a season’s double.
“I’ve always said that we are competing for every cup that we play so definitely we are going right and then we will see what will happen.”
