Kenya finished second in the inaugural FIFA Women’s Series after a 2-0 loss to Australia in the final at Nyayo Stadium.
Starlets had earlier secured a place in the final with a 2-0 win over India, who are currently ranked 69th in the world, in their opening match.
The result highlighted the team’s competitiveness and growing cohesion. Facing Australia, ranked 15th in the world, in the final provided valuable exposure against top-level opposition and offered key insights for the team.
