The 25-year-old attacking midfielder joins the Nairobi-based club after leaving Ghana Premier League side Heart of Lions.

The Makarao, as they are affectionately nicknamed, announced the signing of the hardworking midfielder on their social media handles.

“The armoury must be equipped with the necessary artillery. We have acquired the services of SAMUEL QUANSAH BOAMAH.

Quansah is an attacking midfielder who brings with him lots of experience from Ghana. The former Hearts of Lions Box-to-Box midfielder is ready to take on the task with the boys in blue. WELCOME HOME MCHEZA.”

Quansah gathered 18 matches without a goal for Heart of Lions before signing for the reigning champions.

He is expected to add depth to the Cops squad as they seek to defend the title they won last season. They are 5th on the current league table with 29 points, 11 points adrift of leaders Gor Mahia who are managed by former Ghana international Charles Akonnor.
