Ghana Premier League side, Medeama Sporting Club have shipped out attacker Abdul Rahaman Mohammed on loan to Ethiopian side Arba Minch City Football Club.

The Mauve and Yellow sent the hardworking forward to the Crocodiles for more playing time until the end of the 2025/2026 football season.

Rahman Mohammed joined the current Ghana Premier League leaders during the second transfer window as a free agent on a two-and-a-half-year deal after his stint in Tanzania with TRA United SC.

Prior to joining the two time FA Cup winners, Abdul Rahaman Mohammed was an important figure in the defunct Nsoatreman FC’s journey to lifting the 2024 Ghana FA Cup.

However, the striker is yet to make an official appearance for Medeama since completing his move to Tarkwa earlier this year.

“The loan move is aimed at ensuring the attacker gains regular playing time and remain competitive ahead of the next campaign. Club officials believe the experience in Ethiopia will help sharpen his form and match fitness as he continues his development.

“Medeama Sporting Club wish Abdul Rahaman Mohammed the very best during his loan spell and look forward to welcoming him back stronger for the future.” Part of the announcement on Abdul Rahaman Mohammed’s move to Ethiopia read.

Medeama earlier in the year transferred experienced and two-time Ghana capped right-back, Kamaradini Mamudu to Sudanese club Al Hilal Omdurman in a three-year deal reported to be in the region of €125k.
