Prince Owusu is demanding improved performances from Asante Kotoko ahead of their Ghana Premier League clash against Karela United at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
Asante Kotoko are on the road to the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium as guests of a stubborn Karela United in week 25 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors were held to a goalless draw by a ten-man Vision FC last weekend, a result which did not go down well with the club’s teeming supporters.

Ahead of the journey to Karela United, interim head coach Prince Owusu expressed worry over the club’s mixed results.
“I think that the situation that the teamis in right now, we need to take every match very seriously [and] as you are saying the task is difficult, you cannot say it’s not because the expectations from our fans and everything is very high, they want win and win it all so it’s very tough and we haven’t won a game there and we know it’s going to be a very tough task for us,” Prince Owusu told Kotoko TV.
“It’s not easy at all a lot of thinking about it, what is going on, what is happening, why Kumasi Asante Kotoko and all those things are coming to cross my mind and we just need to perform and maybe one we will just break that jinx and we can get a win”.”
Asante the team currently sit in 4th on the league table with 39 points, one behind sworn rivals Hearts of Oak after 24 league games this season.
Leaders Medeama’s title ambitions will face a stern test when they host strugglers Hohoe United at the Tarkwa TnA Park on Sunday.
