Algerian star Yacine Brahimi delivered a sensational performance with a stunning hat-trick, while Tunisian midfielder Ferjani Sassi added a goal and an assist as Al-Gharafa crushed Al Sadd 4-1 on Saturday to win the prestigious Qatar Amir Cup title.
Ferjani Sassi opened the scoring in the 21st minute with a composed finish from inside the penalty area, giving Al Gharafa the advantage.
Just six minutes later, Brahimi doubled the lead in the 27th minute after an assist from Sassi, precisely finishing from inside the penalty area.
In the second half, Brahimi struck again in the 63rd minute, once more benefiting from excellent service to make it 3-0 with another clinical finish.
Al Sadd managed to pull one back in the 88th minute through Javiro Dilrosun, but Brahimi had the final word. In the stoppage time (90+1), the Algerian magician dribbled brilliantly inside the box before firing home his third goal of the night to seal an unforgettable hat-trick and a commanding 4-1 victory.

The triumph secured Al Gharafa’s ninth Qatar Amir Cup title, moving them past Qatar SC’s eight trophies and level with Al Arabi on nine titles.
Al Gharafa’s Amir Cup victories now came in: 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2002, 2009, 2012, 2025, and 2026.
This latest success also marked back-to-back Amir Cup titles for Al Gharafa, underlining the club’s status as one of Qatar’s dominant football forces.
