New arrival Senfuka eyes immediate impact at URA FC

Uganda Premier League side URA FC has confirmed the signing of experienced midfielder Rahmat Senfuka in the ongoing mid-season transfer window.

Senfuka joins the Tax Collectors on a two-year deal from Wakiso Giants, adding experience, leadership, and tactical intelligence to the URA FC midfield as the club pushes for a strong second half of the season.

The combative midfielder brings with him a winning pedigree. During his time at Vipers SC between 2018 and 2020, Senfuka lifted the Uganda Premier League title and the FUFA Super 8 trophy, underlining his reputation as a proven competitor at the highest level.

Well-versed with the demands of the Ugandan top flight, Senfuka has also featured for Police FC, where he previously served as captain, and Proline FC.

Upon his arrival at Nakivubo, Senfuka spoke with conviction about what the move means to him and his determination to repay the confidence shown by head coach Hussein Mbalangu and the club leadership.

“This badge represents hard work, ambition, and belief. I’m here to fight for every ball, lead with my actions, and help URA FC achieve its targets. The trust from the coach and management means everything to me now it’s time to deliver on the pitch.”

A versatile operator, Senfuka can slot in as a holding midfielder or operate further forward behind the striker, giving the technical team added flexibility.

He becomes URA FC’s third mid-season acquisition following the arrivals of Moses Waiswa and attacking left-back Disan Galiwango.

Senfuka will battle for a place in midfield alongside Ibrahim Wammanah, George Masembe, and John Innocent Kisolo.
