Sowe, Olawoyin power Rizespor; Attamah own goal jolts Kayserispor - Turkish Süper Lig

Some of Africa's star players were in action in the Turkish Süper Lig on Saturday.
Gambia forward Ali Sowe and Nigeria midfielder Ibrahim Olawoyin both scored in Rizespor's to 2-0 victory over Gaziantep FK.
Sowe broke the deadlock in the 77th minute, before Olawoyin doubled their win late on, as Rizespor remained 14th in the league on 40 points, and six points outside the drop zone. Gaziantep, on the other hand, sit 12th with 42 points after 32 league matches.
Sowe has 15 goals in 32 matches, while Olawoyin has logged four goals from 28 matches so far this season for Rizespor.
Elsewhere in the Turkish Süper Lig, Kayserispor fought back to draw 1-1 at Alanyaspor on Saturday. Ghana defender Joseph Attamah Larweh’s own goal gifted the home side a 30th-minute lead, before Ramazan Civelek restored parity in the 52nd minute for Kayserispor.
Kayserispor are 13th in the league table with 41 points, while Alanyaspor are a step below them with 35 points from 32 matches.
