Umar Sadiq labels Valencia’s victory over Athletic Club a crucial result

Valencia CF striker Umar Sadiq has described the Spanish side’s 1-0 victory over Athletic Club in La Liga Matchday 35 as a crucial result for the club.

​The match, played at San Mamés on Sunday, saw Sadiq come off the bench with 20 minutes remaining. The Nigerian striker made an instant impact, scoring the decisive goal just two minutes after his introduction to secure three vital points for his team.

“These are three very important points for the team. We have to keep going like this.

It was the first ball I touched, but the most important thing is the team, that we work together.
