“The head coach refused to rule out a spot in the squad for Maximilian Wöber and Victor Boniface. Karl Hein (thumb injury), Julian Malatini (syndesmosis tear in ankle), Mitchell Weiser (ACL tear) and Keke Topp (ACL tear) are all still sidelined.”

The forward joined the German side on loan from fellow Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen and has made 11 appearances, and providing 2 assist before his layoff.

Also, Super Eagles defender Felix Agu, who has been battling a muscle problem, could make his comeback as he was not mentioned among those officially ruled out of action.

The full-back has struggled with fitness this season, restricting his appearances for the Greens. Agu has made 11 league appearances for Bremen this campaign, with one assist to his name.
