Striker Vina Hasina scored a hat trick to earn Al-Merrikh a faultless 3-0 victory over Bugesera FC and remain in the title race for the Rwanda Premier League/BK Pro League on Sunday.
The Malagasy forward opened the scoring in the 46th minute before extending the lead with two more goals in the 52nd and 93rd minutes to seal the victory in the BK Pro League.

Malawian international Chikumbutso Salima provided an assist for the last goal of Hasina as Al Merrikh cemented their third place with 52 points from 27 games.
The Sudanese side lies nine points behind leaders and countrymen Al Hilal.
In other games played on Sunday, Rayon Sports were 2-0 winners over Amagaju FC on the road while Kiyovo Sports and Enticelles settled for a barren draw.
The highlight of Saturday was that of the leaders Al Hilal producing a 2-0 victory over Musanze FC to remain six points ahead of APR FC.
The Rwanda giants overcame Murura 3-0 on Saturday. On the same day, Police FC defeated Marines FC 2-0.
Al Hilal will return to action on Sunday with an away fixture against Kigali FC while APR FC and Rayon Sports will battle it out on Saturday. On the same Saturday, Gicumbi will welcome Al Merrikh.
Al-Merrikh and Al Hilal are guest teams in the Rwandan Premier League due to the ongoing war in Sudan.
