Ghana FA Cup: Aduana, Nations to light up Swedru Stadium

The Swedru Stadium will be set alight on Friday when two time Ghana Premier League champions, Aduana FC lock horns with Nations FC in the MTN FA Cup semifinals.

In a top flight affair, head coach of Aduana FC, Cioaba Aristica is leaving nothing to chance.

Speaking in his pre-match interview, Aristica described the match as a crucial one in the season of Aduana FC, and called for full focus from his players.

Aduana are yet to win FA Cup

“We are fully concentrated on the FC Cup match because it’s very important. The game in the cup is different because you only have one chance. If you lose, you are out. We are taking the match seriously, and the players understand what is at stake, which is why they have shown seriousness in training,” Cioaba Aristica told Aduana FC TV.

The Dormaa based club are yet to lift the FA Cup but boast of two Premier League titles which they won in 2010 and 2018.

They sit in fourth on the league table on 45 points, eight behind leaders Medeama with five games to end the season.

Friday’s FA Cup semi-final showdown between Aduana FC and Nations FC is scheduled to kick off at 3:00PM.
