German club FC Köln have become the strongest candidate to sign Gambian youngster Abubacarr Kinteh.
Köln, who want to bolster their defence with Kinteh, have a bid worth €5m already rejected by Norwegian club Tromsø according to transfer expert Rudi Galetti.

The 19-year-old is already courting massive interest from English Premier League giants Manchester United, German side RB Leipzig and Italian Serie A powerhouse AC Milan.
Genoa and Norwich City have also joined the fray in enquiring about the youngster who has been a revelation for Tromso. The Eliteserien outfit info are expecting more offers in the coming days with potential summer departure imminent.
Kinteh, who graduated from the Academy Mawade Wade, has made seven appearances for Tromsø this season.

The one-time capped Kinteh was called up to be part of the squad for The Gambia’s 2026 World Cup qualification matches last year against Kenya and Burundi.
The defender made his debut on 10 October 2025, in a 3-4 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification loss to Gabon.
