Bamidele Yusuf eyes domestic double with Ferencváros

After being crowned a Magyar Kupa winner with Ferencváros, forward Bamidele Yusuf is set to conclude his debut season in Hungary with a potential league and cup double.

On Sunday, Yusuf featured as a second-half substitute as Ferencváros clinched the Hungarian Cup, defeating ZTE 1-0 in a tightly contested final. With Ferencváros currently sitting just one point behind league leaders ETO FC Győr as the title race enters its final stages, the club remains in a strong position to secure the domestic trophy.

Ferencváros will again do battle against ZTE this Saturday as they push to overtake Győr at the top of the table.

Yusuf’s positive start at Ferencváros

The 25-year-old joined Ferencváros last summer from Serbian club FK Vojvodina. Since his arrival in Budapest, the Nigerian has established himself as a key contributor to the team’s attack.

In the 2025–26 season, he has made 36 appearances across all competitions, netting 11 goals and providing 7 assists. His clinical form has been a major factor in keeping Ferencváros in contention for the domestic double.
