On Sunday, Yusuf featured as a second-half substitute as Ferencváros clinched the Hungarian Cup, defeating ZTE 1-0 in a tightly contested final. With Ferencváros currently sitting just one point behind league leaders ETO FC Győr as the title race enters its final stages, the club remains in a strong position to secure the domestic trophy.
Ferencváros will again do battle against ZTE this Saturday as they push to overtake Győr at the top of the table.
The 25-year-old joined Ferencváros last summer from Serbian club FK Vojvodina. Since his arrival in Budapest, the Nigerian has established himself as a key contributor to the team’s attack.
In the 2025–26 season, he has made 36 appearances across all competitions, netting 11 goals and providing 7 assists. His clinical form has been a major factor in keeping Ferencváros in contention for the domestic double.
