“We are expecting a very tough opponent because Heart of Lions are one of the teams playing very good football regardless of their position,” Ibrahim Tanko told MEDi TV.
“We saw them last season and even this season when the league started, after four or five matches they were leading the table, so Heart of Lions are one of the teams that are very tough.
“But we faced them at their home ground and beat them 1-0, so we have to prepare very well so that we will keep the maximum points here.”
Experienced midfielder Godknows Dzakpasu expressed his readiness for Heart of Lions’ stern test.
“They will come at us very hard and try to get a draw or a win here, but our determination means a lot to us,” he told MEDi TV.
Medeama are chasing their second Premier League title after clinching their maiden crown in the 2022/23 season.
