Zamalek increase the gap: Egyptian League standings after round 3 of title-deciding phase

Zamalek maintained their lead at the top of the Nile Egyptian League after a crucial 1-0 victory over Pyramids, moving one step closer to securing the title.

The White Knights defeated their visitors at Cairo International Stadium on Thursday in Round 3 of the title phase, extending the gap at the top.

Zamalek now sit first with 49 points, five points clear of both Pyramids and Al Ahly, who are tied in second and third place with 44 points each.
