Nsingizini Hotspurs suffered a home 0-1 loss to Ezulwini United on Monday to dent their bid for Eswatini’s MTN Premier League title retention.
Congolese striker Pandemoya Tshamwinga scored the only goal of the game to stun the MTN Premier League defending champions at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium.

The second league defeat after eight games played this season saw Hotspurs clinging to the summit of the 16-member log table with a delicate two-point cushion over second placed Manzini Sea Birds FC.
It is a setback for Hotspurs who had dropped points in the previous league outing following a one-all draw with Young Buffaloes FC on 22 April 2026.
The MTN Premier League champions eventually represent Eswatini in the CAF Champions League.
Coach Mandla Qhogi-led side was part of the ongoing Champions League campaign but they bowed out from the preliminary round after losing to Simba SC of Tanzania.
