Morocco defender Achraf Hakimi has promised to recover from the latest injury upset and play for Paris Saint Germain again.
The Moroccan international suffered an injury to the hamstring of his right thigh during the closing stages of PSG’s dramatic 5-4 first-leg victory over Bayern.
Hakimi was forced off after experiencing pain following a collision with Bayern midfielder Konrad Laimer.

Further medical tests conducted on Wednesday revealed the injury was more serious than initial muscle tightness or cramping, confirming a muscular issue that will keep the Moroccan right back sidelined for the highly anticipated showdown next Wednesday.
Despite the setback, Hakimi quickly turned his attention to his recovery. In a message posted on Instagram, he wrote: “I did it… and I will do it again.
“A short but confident message — hinting at ambition, repeat success, and belief in going all the way once more on the biggest stage.”
The short but powerful statement reflected his determination to overcome the injury and return stronger. His words resonated with supporters, underlining his commitment to the team even in difficult moments.
The absence of Hakimi represents a major setback for PSG, as the right-back has been one of the team’s main players this season.
Paris Saint-Germain coach, Luis Enrique, now needs to find alternative solutions on the right flank as they prepare for one of their biggest matches of the season without one of their star defenders.
