Swedish giants Malmo FF have expressed delight in securing the signature of Ghanaian youngster Isaac Assibu from second tier side, West Africa Football Academy [WAFA].
Malmo, who recently signed striker Yassin Mohammed from the same WAFA Academy last year, secured Assibu for their U-19 set-up.

Head of Football at Malmo FF, Daniel Andersson shared some words on the capture of Isaac Assibu.
“We have been following Isaac for quite some time and thanks to good contact with WAFA Academy he can now take the step to us.
Anderson hailed the qualities possessed by Assibu who will continue his development at the youth side.
“Isaac is an explosive and skilled winger who has great potential but first and foremost it is important to give him time to adapt and acclimatise.
Assibu on the other hand could not hide his joy after joining the youth set up of the Allsvenskan record title holders.
“I am very proud to be here. My background has taught me the importance of hard work and always being hungry to get better.
“I am here at Malmö FF to develop and give everything for the club.
“On the pitch I like to challenge my defender and create chances.
“I’m really looking forward to this journey and am ready to give it my all.”
WAFA are noted for producing great talents with notable names like Majeed Ashimeru, Samuel Tetteh, Gideon Mensah, Harrison Afful and the late Christian Atsu coming from the stables.
