It is always going to be difficult for a young forward to impress in a team that is considered a contender for relegation, but the 21-year-old is finding a way to thrive in a path that has been explored by many graduates of Senegal’s top academy Génération Foot like Fall. He increased his total to nine goals in all competitions this season with a header in the club’s 1-1 draw at Standard Liège.
Fall spent two seasons on loan with Metz’s Belgian affiliate club RFC Seraing in the country’s second tier Challenger Pro League, where he produced 18 goals and 4 assists in 41 appearances.
