The action begins today from the final window of 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying with three matches on Wednesday. Group J leaders Cameroon will begin the action with a duel against already eliminated Namibia in South Africa. Liberia host Togo in the second match of the day with Togo needing nothing less than a victory to keep their slim qualification hopes alive. Concluding Wednesday's action is a Group G clash between Sierra Leone and Chad in Abidjan, Ivory Coast where the Leone Stars are in search of a victory to maintain pressure on second-placed Zambia.

Pan-Africa Football will regularly update this page as the matches proceed with reports and video of goals when available:

Group J: Namibia vs. Cameroon- Johannesburg, South Africa (13:00 GMT)

Namibia are looking to end their failed qualification campaign on a positive note against Group J leaders Cameroon, who are already qualified but want to secure their status as group winners. We are twenty minutes in with no score so far with Namibia showing encouraging signs.

HT: Namibia 0-0 Cameroon

Cameroon goalkeeper André Onana has been forced into a couple of saves by the Namibian attack led by striker Peter Shalulile but the Indomitable Lions have yet to pose a real threat to the goal of the Brave Warriors. Second half set to kick off momentarily.

In the second half the opportunities increased for both teams but the quality of finishing did not. Namibia somehow hit the post twice in quick succession on an opportunity towards the hour mark and Cameroon's Yvan Neyou scuffed his shot on a good opportunity not too long after.

FT: Namibia 0-0 Cameroon

A mostly uneventful match leaves the teams sharing the spoils in Johannesburg, South Africa. Namibia showed promise at times but the continuing theme of poor finishing bites the Brave Warriors again while Cameroon appeared content to take a point.

Group E: Liberia vs. Togo- Monrovia, Liberia (16:00 GMT)

The second match of the day is underway with ten minutes gone between Togo and hosts Liberia at the SKD Complex. Togo needs a victory to keep their qualification hopes alive against Liberia who are eliminated from contention.

HT: Liberia 0-0 Togo

An energetic start from both teams who are showing urgency in Monrovia but no goals so far. Early in the second half now.

82nd minute: Liberia have taken the lead! Following a handball by the Togolese defense on a shot attempt, Mohammed Sangare converts his penalty kick to put the Lone Star into the lead. Togo need to comeback and win to keep their hopes of qualification alive.

FT: Liberia 1-0 Togo

A disappointing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign sees Togo's hopes officially ended with defeat in Monrovia. A late Mohammed Sangare penalty kick satisfies the home supporters and now Equatorial Guinea join Algeria in qualifying for the finals out of Group E.

Group G: Chad vs. Sierra Leone- Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire (19:00 GMT)

HT: Chad 1-1 Sierra Leone

An electric first half in Abidjan between Chad and Sierra Leone who both have a lot to play for. Sierra Leone midfielder Abu Dumbuya unleashed a beautiful blast from long distance on the half hour mark but Chad equalized within five minutes through a Panenka penalty from Mahamat Thiam. Chad must win to keep their faint qualification hopes alive while Sierra Leone are looking to keep the pressure on second placed Zambia with 3 points separating the teams heading into the match.

30': Sierra Leone midfielder Abu Dumbuya produces a perfect strike from distance to put the Leone Stars ahead.

34': Chad midfielder Mahamat Thiam levels the match with a Panenka penalty

FT: Chad 1-1 Sierra Leone

It is full time in Abidjan and a disappointing result leaves Sierra Leone needing help from Group G leaders Côte d'Ivoire, who the Leone Stars need to avoid defeat at Zambia on Friday. Zambia now remain 2 points clear of Sierra Leone in second place and two points back of Côte d'Ivoire ahead of their clash in Ndola. If Zambia fails to defeat the Elephants, a crunch time finale awaits between Sierra Leone and Zambia in Liberia to conclude qualifying.
