Now carrying a 1-0 victory from the semifinal, first leg, Zamalek SC have more attacking options with Panza at their disposal.
The Angolan winger resumed training on Monday at the Military College Stadium in Cairo, just in time for the CAFCC semifinal, second leg.
The winger has recovered after missing recent domestic and continental assignments due to a knee ligaments’ injury.
Zamalek will host CR Belouizdad at Cairo International Stadium while looking for a draw to qualify for the final. It is all thanks to the victory realised from Nelson Mandela Stadium in Algeria on Saturday.
Juan Bezerra’s first half strike sealed the first leg victory for Zamalek SC before he limped off.
Gamal has since given an update on Bezera’s injury, saying he withdrew him from the first leg match as a precaution.
“Juan Bezera was sad after his exit due to injury after complaining of a back muscle, and he wanted to continue, but I refused to risk him because the team needed his services in the return match,” said the coach.
The return semifinal leg will take place on Friday at the Cairo International Stadium with the overall winner dating either Olympic Safi or USM Alger.
