Benin is set to embark on major steps towards developing, reshaping and strengthening its football moving forward.
According to Benin Football on X, the Football Federation will be launching an official detection and recruitment day dedicated to binational players and players evolving in Europe.

It is an opportunity meant to give an opportunity for these young talents in both male and female categories to get noticed and join the various national teams.
An official detection day will be held in Pantin (France ), at the Stade Marcel Cerdan, specifically dedicated to binational profiles.
The categories concerned range from U17 to U23 (born between 2003 and 2010), with players evolving from national to regional level (departmental level accepted only for women).

Day’s schedule: Reception starting at 08:00, followed by administrative formalities and a presentation.
Then, time for on-field sessions (technical exercises, workshops, games). A first selection will take place at noon, followed by a break and individual interviews.
The afternoon will be dedicated to matches, before a final debrief and closure scheduled at 18:00.
The objective of the exercise is to identify the best profiles in order to strengthen Benin’s national teams ahead of upcoming international competitions.
