The 19-year-old has the world at his feet. He produced two goals and an assist from four matches in April as RB Leipzig won every league match during the month. Die Roten Bullen are on a five-match winning streak during a crucial point of the season, moving themselves into third place to become favorites to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season.

Diomande continues to set Bundesliga alight

Diomande is the player largely responsible for his team’s excellent form. He now has 12 goals and 7 assists from 30 league matches and continues to generate interest from Europe’s elite clubs including Liverpool, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain among others.

RB Leipzig leadership indicated a reluctance to sell the Ivory Coast national team star, who would certainly require a transfer fee of at least €100 million. There is no release clause in Diomande’s contract and the club have high aspirations moving forward, leaving them in a powerful position when it comes to the transfer market.

Three rounds remain in league play, with Leipzig five points clear of fourth place Stuttgart and five points behind second place Borussia Dortmund. Next up is a fixture away from home at Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.
